Welcome to Mountain View Apple Orchard

Established in 2000, we are a relatively new apple orchard located in the heart of Sevier County, TN. We have approximately 1800 apple trees divided into thirteen (13) varieties with four (4) additional varieties that will be maturing in the next two to three years.

We open when we have five or six (5 or 6) varieties in our coolers… usually about September 15th and close when we sell out of apples (usually around November 1st). Watch for our signs to go up, or PLEASE call for information!

Other Orchard Items

We also prepare FRESH Apple Cider from a blend of sweet and tart apples. No additives, no preservatives, and quick frozen for complete freshness... the real thing!... a customer favorite! Always let it thaw completely in your refrigerator and since our cider is full of real apple particulates… always SHAKE before pouring.

We have Apple Butter, Crabapple Jelly, Blackberry Jam, Blackberry Jelly, & Plum Jam all produced here in our own orchard kitchen from our own fruit. (Subject To Availability)

We have three additions to our product line, this year:

1. Winter Squash: butternut, green striped cushaws, & acorn
2. Sweet Potatoes
   ...all grown here at Mountain View Orchard.
3. We have added a BAKERY section to our kitchen: we have available… fried pies (on Friday and Saturdays), pies, mini Bundt cakes and other baked items when available… all made with our own home-grown apple products… onsite.  We will also take special quantity orders on all items. Food Safety

We know that food safety is a big concern for everyone… and it is for us, too! Here at Mountain View Orchard. We NEVER use apple drops (apples that have fallen to the ground) in either fresh or prepared items for sale. Fresh apples are always given a preliminary wash, when picked… but we always suggest that you wash your apples, again, before you eat or prepare them. Once thawed, apple cider should last about a week in your refrigerator.
